The American Advertising Awards is the advertising industry’s largest and most representative competition, attracting over 40,000 entries every year in local AAF Club (Ad Club) competitions. The mission of the American Advertising Awards competition is to recognize and reward the creative spirit of excellence in the art of advertising.

Meet the Judges


Reece has worked as an art director and associate creative director for a number of well-known agencies over the course of 20 + years in the industry including 72andSunny, David & Goliath, Swift, BBDO West, and J. Walter Thompson.

He has worked with some of the best-known brands in the world including Google, Kia, Starbucks, Target, and Sony PlayStation and his world travel adventures are known all over the galaxy.


Rob Munk is a freelance CD/CW. Rob worked as Senior Creative Director, SVP at BBDO Worldwide and previously worked at Wieden+Kennedy.

According to Rob’s official bio “I accidentally began my advertising career at the age of 3, when I was cast in a commercial for a hamburger chain. I vomited on set after eating too many hamburgers, and then the rest is ad history. So in summary, I was a child actor, then worked at Roy Rogers on the New Jersey Turnpike and now I make ads in a freelance capacity.”


Ally is a marketing consultant and certified project manager and with a love of traveling anywhere with good food, loud music, and sites worth seeing.

Ally’s work as a content strategist, copywriter, and social media manager spans industries ranging from health care and hospitality to law and tech. She’s created and implemented strategic plans for both start-ups and established businesses, and has developed communications for union, non-union, and blended workforces.

Her work has also been featured in national case studies on social media marketing as well as Gold ADDY-winning marketing campaigns.

When not working, the Buffalo, NY native spends her free time hiking, climbing, and camping with her partner and their two dogs.


Hunter has won the big international awards (Cannes, One Show, Clios, etc.) for his work as a Copywriter, Director, and Art Director. He’s created SuperBowl campaigns, new products, and global taglines.

While in Toronto, he was ranked in the top 5 of creatives in the country. One year later, in the UK, he was a top 5 creative there while helping DDB London become the most awarded agency of the year. And the decade.

But awards aren’t everything. With a keen interest in strategy, Hunter has helped win enormous pitches and created the kind of work that makes clients hand agencies their business.
